Scholarship Overview

Australian National University has initiated the University Research Scholarship to support high-achieving HDR students who are conducting research that aligns with the strategic directions of the University. Australian National University has initiated the University Research Scholarship to support high-achieving HDR students who are conducting research that aligns with the strategic directions of the University. Eligibility Criteria for the ANU University Research Scholarships: Applicants must be domestic students or international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at the University Applicants must have achieved a minimum of H1 or H1 equivalent in their prior studies. Applicants must provide English Language requirements. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record. The award will be available each year to a prospective or continuing student. Application Process:   All eligible candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship. Value of the Scholarship: Successful applicants of the ANU University Research Scholarships will receive a stipend of the value of $40,475 per annum along with the following benefits: Travel and Removal allowances for students relocating to Canberra to commence their research program. Thesis allowance. Dependant Child allowance (International students only) Paid medical, maternity, and parental leave.
