Good Samaritan Award Good Samaritan Award The Good Samaritan Award was established in 1978 by the Olds College Alumni Association and is a tribute to Frank Stevens from the Olds College Class of 1924, a 20th century Good Samaritan. Eligibility criteria for the Good Samaritan Award: Applicants must be Olds College students. Applicants must demonstrate unselfishness, generosity, and compassion. Applicants must demonstrate a love for people. Applicants must celebrate and support the successes of persons with disabilities. Application process for the Good Samaritan Award: Applicants must submit a 200-300 word essay outlining ways you demonstrate unselfishness, generosity, compassion, a love for people, and how you celebrate the successes of persons with disabilities. Award: CAD 250
