Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wenrick Scholarship Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wenrick Scholarship The Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wenrick Scholarship was established in 1990 by Nelson D. and Peggy J. Wenrick. Nelson Wenrick is a 1960 BSCE graduate of Indiana Tech and a former member of the university’s Board of Trustees Eligibility Criteria for the Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wenrick Scholarship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Applicants must be a freshman student. Applicants do not need an outstanding high school academic record, but must meet the academic criteria to enter their chosen field. Applicants must be pursuing undergraduate courses. Applicants must show evidence that they are a hard worker and dedicated to working hard in college. Preference will be given first to a student majoring in engineering. Application Process for the Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wenrick Scholarship: No Separate application is required.
